I believe there is only one model, 01A, which is f2.8-3.8. Both my
printed booklet and Tamron's web site show it
<http://www.tamron.co.jp/data/a2-lens/mflens.htm>. One posible source of
confusion apperas to be a typo in Cult Classics in Third Party Lenses
<http://medfmt.8k.com/third/cult.html#tamron> . The Tamron table is ok,
but the detail discussion of this lens says "f/2.8-3.5". Since so many
of us have read that, someone(s) has likely posted the wrong id. There
could also be some confusion with the Vivitar 28-90/f/2.8-3.5.
