It is dirt/dust on your sensor. There are lots of articles on the web
on how to clean your sensor. You could go to the Olympus E1 forum at
dpreview.com and do a search. It is the curse of the new DSLR owner,
but you learn how to do it. Be very certain you use a method which
locks up the mirror. If it comes down midcleaning and slams the tool
into the sensor a repair is very, very expensive. For a good view of
the dirt, set your smallest aperture and point it at the sky on a clear
day and take a snap. When you down load it and look at it full size you
will be amazed. You have to do the same thing after cleaning to make
sure it is really clean. It will probably be completely invisible to
the naked eye.
Part of the fallacy of vibrating the sensor to remove dust is that if
there is any humidity at all the dust glues itself to filter on top of
the sensor. It can't be shaken off or blown off. It takes wet cleaning.
