I will do shortly, although I don't have many (and they were taken with
a C*non G5 as being more expendable than my OMs ;-)). My other excuse
is that it was the first time my student had flown in hills, as opposed
over flat terrain, and I had ensure that he was putting on power early
enough to climb them. Having been used, for nearly 30 years, to having
plenty of power on tap in jets, it was quite disturbing to find that
you have to give a week's notice that hills are approaching to a little
piston machine (Grob 118E). I nearly had a problem in Wales last year
when I found that the gradient matched the climb angle and I had
nowhere to go (but towards the ground) if it got any steeper.
Photography starts to look insignificant in such situations!
By the way, I flew south down that lake in your lovely photos, holding
to the western side of the valley.
