As long as we're on this thread~~
Today when most photographers keep the solution in cabinet in a darkroom- Why
'brown' glass?
Historically, they left them in the light and were afraid of UV contamination-
But why today?
Why not use clear glass, blue glass, green glass, or even red glass?
Is it true that glass is etched by alkalies in developers and can add silica to
solutions if stored to long?
An which is best- glass, rubber, or plastic cap for bottle stoppers?
What happen to the old idea of using human breath, carbon dioxide, blown into
the bottle?
It made a lovely tone!
An what ever killed the most perfect storage idea- tablets? You'd take a
"tabloid" and desolve
it in water and develope a roll.
Yours trying to keep your minds active,
