Nope no socket. There is one on Ebay pretty much identical to the one I
bought...except mine says "made in china". On the back there are two
lights..."Wind" and "ON". There is a place to put the winder cap...which is
about the only nifty thing...other than the usual.

Whoa, sounds like a bargain! I have noticed off-brand winders for OM
up on eb@y a couple of times (I forget the brand), and always
wondered whether how good the were. Does anyone else here use one?
Ali, does yours have a socket that the M.Grip cord might fit into?
