Yes. The advantage of above-the-film filters is that you don't
get any loss of contrast due to diffusion from a dirty filter.
However, the advantage of below-the-lens filters is the lack of
focus shift when doing split-grade printing.
Another advantage of the Ilford filters is that they are dead
accurate.
