Subject: [OM] Re: OT M605 and Multigrade
Many thanks, Ken and Chris for your prompt replies with their most useful
information.
Ken, you mention 'underlens filters' in your reply. Does this mean that one
can use the Multigrade filters between the lens and paper? I ask this
because the original Durst M605 owner has left a device in the box that may
have been used to do just this. It's a conical, circular, plastic device
with the top rim having three screws which may fix it to the bottom ring of
an enlarging lens. The bottom, larger rim has a swing away plate with a 6cm
X 6cm section which could accommodate a 6X6 filter. The gadget has a Beseler
label fixed to it and is obviously from an enlarger of that brand. Any
thoughts?
John.
