Thanks John. I have the dense foam from Fargo that I have used to
replace seals succesfully on other cameras (Olympus 35 RC, Nikon F). Its
about 3mm thick. It looks like Olympus uses the less dense foam and it
appears to be less than 3mm thick. Do you have any recommendations as to
the thickness (depth ) of the foam? The foam by the hinge I have already
replaced. Weird setup. I noticed the old foam looked kinda crushed
down - the new stuff looks the same. The door apparently doesn`t close
squarely on the foam (by design). As long as it keeps the light out...
