Ok, the EOS30 may be not that great at light below EV1 but at slightly
better lighting condition it is very fast and claimed to be the fastest in
its class, I believe it was compared with the N80. For D1x you need the 1D
to compare and most of the USM lenses are much faster and quieter than the
others.
