If my memory is correct the voltage and size of the 303 and 357 watch
battery are the same but the 303 does not hold up to a high drain.  303
batters were mostly used in analog type watches and the 357 the led and LCD
display watches.  We could put the 357s in the watches that used 303s but
not 303s in the one that used 357s
