Doh! Now there's a good idea staring me in the face.
But why the 35-70/4 rather than the 35-70/3.5-4.5? I had the
3.5-4.5...but sold it ten years ago when I migrated to N*kon....dang.
It would use the same filters as the other two lenses I have as well,
and offer the macro capability I was looking for in the 90/2. And weigh
190 g! I think we have a winner! ;-) Anyone have a nice one they're not
using?
As several have suggested, it won't replace the primes. I'd still like
the 85/2 some day.... Chuck--your portraits are very nice. That's
exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for, images taken with the
lenses.
