Don't know about Vivitar, but the 1.5x Match Mate Kiron was to be 
matched to their 75-150 zoom and vignettes with the 300/4.5.  I wouldn't 
be surprised  if the Vivitar is the same converter, as Kiron made a lot 
of Vivitar lenses and the zoom is a similar range.
