This comes late and is redundant, but the rear element of #119***
appears to be flat too.
For what it's worth, my walkabout kit consists of these goodies,
all of which fit in a fanny pack ("bum bag" for some of you. Do
I need to keep translating for those whose native tongue is not
Murkin?):
50/3.5 Zuiko Macro
Set of Oly auto extension tubes (I just attach all three together,
with a body cap on one end and a rear cap on the other).
19-35/3.5~4.5 Phoenix
35-105/3.5~4.5 Zuiko
180/2.8 Zuiko
1.4X-A tele extender
The 180/2.8 is what I've replaced the 65-200 with. I first went
with the 80-200/2.8 Tamron. It's a fantastic lens, but it's just
too big and heavy for a really lazy man's light kit. I've found
that the 180, which is barely bigger, and no heavier, than the
deposed 65-200, is exactly right for 90 percent of the times when
the 35-105 is too short. And the tele extender, which wouldn't
work on the 65-200, gives me a poor man's 250/4.
