This "Polaroid" camera is using their low end fully integrated chip with A/D
convertor etc on the
chip.
They have an agreement with Sigma for I believe, 2 years of exclusive on the
higher density chips,
before they can sell to other makers. A bit over a year into that agreement, so
potentially other
camera vendors usinf X3 by near end of this year for higher end cameras.
Interesting the frame rate on the low res chip in video mode, is ~24FPS not
~30FPS so no good for
large US video market.
