I had always thought that the standard screen in the OM-PC (40) was
equivalent to a 2-series screen. Isn't this so?
The specifications page of the OM-PC owner's manual states that the screen is
a "bright Lumi-Micron", and the specifications of the 2-series screen
describes the 2-series screens as "Fine Lumi-Micron" screens.
I think any difference people are seeing is from the different styles, such
as a 2-4 or a 2-13, and not from any difference in brightness.
Maybe also a _slight_ difference is due to the fact that you're replacing a
23-year old screen with a brand new, out-of-the-box one, and the brand new one
may be a bit brighter because it is new.
