> Here are some updates on the subject.
> - Since the OM (Zuiko) lenses are not designed for the digital imaging
> purpose, the quality of the images will be less than optimal with the
> E-1. Therefore, the adapter will NOT be sold as a regular item and it
> will only be distributed for free to those place an order. This
> service applies only in Japan.
> - Adapters are distributed to ONLY (in Japan) who turned in the order
> form (one time offer) and the items are delivered in the order of first
> come first serve until they run out. The order form is mailed to the
> registered E-1 owners.
> - The order forms are to be distributed to who has registered under
> http://www.olympus-esystem.jp/usr_reg/index.html
> from January 15. The shipment of the free adapters are to begin in
> late February.
> - The order form must accompay a copy of warranty.
> - Manual focus anly.
> - Focus distance doubles.
> - Aperature priority and manual exposure possible .
> - Auto exposure adjustment does not work, however, Program AE and
> shutter priority AE can be used. - I don't understand 'AE adjustment'.
> - No aperature information displayed in view finder.
> - Focusing must rely on the viewing of the focusing screen.
> - List of compatible lenses will be sent together with the adapter.

> ranges. For example, F-stop range of 1.4 - 8 for Zuiko 50mm/f1.2.

> 300mm/f4.5, 400mm/f6.3, 600mm/f6.5, 1000mm/f11,
