Quite common in my family when I was growing up in upstate NY of all places. My
family is not even of Mexican heritage, but--in part--Portuguese. And of
course, now that I'm in another part of the country, Mexican food in general
could be considered a staple of Southern California life.

Hi,
I am curious.
Tamales is Mexican food, are they common to eat in the US?
In past conversations I heard about "chiles rellenos", another Mexican food.

Moisés
