Sand in the focus mechanism I would send out... if the sand is just inside
the mount/aperture mechanism its not outside the realm of a reasonably
mechanically capable person to pull off the bayonet mount, mechanical
linkages inside it, etc. and clean sand out with a small brush then
reassemble. You might want to practice on a handy 50/1.8 first; I think the
basic insides are similar for the 85/2.0 Zuiko.
