But there's no super-cool LCD on an MD1, which counts down while
the camera counts up. And the whirr of the rewind of the MD2 is
just totally too cool for words. Causes bystanders to gawk in
amazed admiration!
But I've heard a time or two, from sources that may or may not be
reliable, that these LCD displays croak after X number of years,
and that X number is just around the corner. Anybody know whether
that's so or not?
And, I will grudgingly admit, you're right about the MD1. I've
got two MD1's and two MD2's, and except for the LCD and the
rewind, one's as good as the other. And the MD1 is smaller and
lighter and just as quick. Of course, I can't remember the last
time I shot with a motor drive set to "sequence."
