Hi Bill:
I have to agree, and really I'm not uptight. Generally the things I've bought
on e-bay have been well represented and were keepers the not so good I just
traded off, to a dealer who will repair and recycle so the OM pool is
rejuvenated I hope. The few dollars it takes to be honorable I will gladly pay.
The good neighbouritis you can count on! However, although I've had the
occasional " screg" as long as I get a kiss before or after I don't mind so
much. It's like the cowboy said,"It sure has been lonesome in the saddle since
my horse died!" Words to pay attention to, if you speak western.
Thanks Gord

Just review his loss history (ebay feedback), do some field underwriting (ask
questions of the list), inspect the risk (hard to do with crappy pictures),
conduct an interview (ask him questions), be sure you have reinsurance in place
(insurance from ebay) in case faults in the previous tasks result in a less
than perfect transaction. Cry to the State Board (ebay) if things don't go
your way and endulge in "neighboritis" (tell us of your screg) if you are
really unhappy.
If at the end of the day, you are at wits end. Make yourself comfortable,
close your eyes, take few deep breaths, concentrate on your breathing, get
"centered" and repeat after me, OMMMMMMMMMMMMM, OMMMMMMMMMMM
This will pass. You did the best you could. A hundred years from now, there
will be no one alive who cares about anything associated with this misfortune.
None of it means anything and you can create a wonderful OM kind of day for
yourself everyday.
