C.H. Ling has been using Zuikos on his Canon EOS digital as if they are manual
aperture lenses. He says that he can use Av mode
(aperture-priority auto exposure) but he has to dial in compensation.
I bought a T-mount for EOS earlier in the year. It won't mate with the
electronic connections in any way. My outboard Canon 380EX
flash relies on the camera to relay the focal length so it can set the zoom
head. It's likely that the flash will default to 50mm
when I mount the 18mm.
I don't have the Spiratone lens yet so the tests lie well ahead of me.
