Reread please - that's not what was said. Japan first outsourced
manufacture to Korea and Taiwan - neither now 3rd world economies in
the 'developing' sense but they were. Later they used China. Pentax
shifted manufacture of the K1000 from Japan to China in the late
1980's, for example. A lot of electronic componenets were and are
made in Malaysia.

Next thing will see is 3rd world country's giving there pets to do the

You think the bits are manufactured in Japan? - they've been
outsourcing to the 3rd world for years (just like the rest of us).
