I have not been to Argentina, but I echo the advice on Argentine wines. Malbec
(a red variety) is their speciality, and many are quite good. A good malbec
really "opens up" when it is allowed to breathe. First sip upon opening can be
quite good; wait an hour or so and you will be very pleasantly surprised.
Leave it open and the next day can be a "wow" experience. YMMV depending on
producer, vintage, storage, etc.
Make sure you use your OM to make some good photos of bottle, glass, etc.
