Pop Photo says Nikon says their pro bodies will often have sensors the same size as full-frame 35mm negs for compatibility. Advanced amateur DSLR bodies will have smaller sensors and budget lenses with smaller image circles. In other words, the next Nikon DSLR for advanced amateurs will be like the Canon Digital Rebel.
