As far as they're concerned, I think, the product does not exist. Trying to
order through the dealer website, it comes up as a non-existent number.
BTW, since I don't have a storefront, I am unable to order E-1 system
items. Oh well.

More to the point for me: JH, can you order it from Oly? (Not same as
ordering it and RECEIVING it.)

Did they say on what grounds they wanted the picture removed. Is it because
they have not publicly announced its existence yet or because it's an
unofficial image? Is the image displayed on the dealer website?

Yes, and as a follow up to THAT I must add that yesterday I was politely
asked by Olympus America to remove the pictures of the MA-1 adapter from my
website.
I offered my opinion that if they decided to not sell the adapter they would
be telling their LOYAL customers to "go away" and that many would go to
Nikon and Canon if for no other reason than spite. Also, not selling the
adapter, they might as well just kick themselves in the nuts for all the
good it'll do. How long before Tamron or Tokina come out with the adapter,
anyway?!
