The benefit? Simple. Ever tried to haul your gas stove to your place of
employ? Your school/dorm room? A motel room? My wife's electric kettle
went all over Europe with us, so she could have a cup of tea whenever it
struck her fancy (and her fancy got struck quite a bit, actually... ;-) ).
