Well I'm planning a P4/Celeron in a Shuttle SB51 barebones with 1Gb memory,
a suitable graphics card in the AGP slot and a burner for storing the
images. Big (but BIG) hard drive. One problem I haven't resolved is the fact
that I would ideally run PS on a different physical drive from the scratch
disk. There's only one internal drive bay in the Shuttle case.
Operating system I haven't decided on yet, I have Win98SE here, and dislike
the ethos behind the registration of XP, but am tempted by it.
I was thinking of maybe dumping the floppy and fitting a second, 20Gb drive
for the OS and other software. There is no need for a floppy, after all.
