I'm well aware of the advantages of aperture prefire - but I almost never
use it. I think that the self-timer is a design detail that Mr. Maitani
didn't work out to his design team's usual standard. Annoying and twiddly
knob.
At that price, Donald, I'd get it. . . . Even if it is a battery-eater.
Silver cells aren't that expensive. I don't recall, do you have a -4 or 4T?
You'll really appreciate the spot metering if you haven't already
experienced it.
