Defiantly and man in the know! Make sure you check the wall plugs
to what side is + or - before hooking those $pendy wires to your system.
Yes today's music seems dead since the golden years of 60's
Get a new comer to sit in front of a good audiophile system,
Amp/SpeakerCables/Speakers/J A Michell turntable/Battery recoded Vinyl,
they will never be the same.

Considering the "Music" they listen to, I'd say that MP3
compression doesn't really matter too much.
I'm "old-school" in that I much prefer a simple two-mike (BK
preferred) spread XY pattern (6") in front of a band in an
acoustically correct room. Close your eyes and enjoy.
If you aren't recording it to high-speed tape, then your other
option is 96/24 digital. Even then, the sampling resolution of
digital will cause the loss of some spacial placement.
Give me samples over bit-depth...
Give me maximum sampling, not for frequency response but for
spacial placement...
All audio compression stinks. My problem is that I knew exactly
how the algorithms are written--worked in the industry. Once
you know the algorithm, your ears are poisoned for life. I
really hate digital satellite TV. (16:1 compression? Get real
folks).
