My first 1 Gig hard drive was purchased in the early 90's and cost $5000. In
the early 80's a friend and I were using Osbornes and he bought a 10 MB
drive for $2000. Things have changed so fast. /jim

disk drives are so cheap these days. they run about $1.00 a Gig. Just add
another drive to your existing computer.
Incidentally I got some advise from a very reliable and experienced source
and he feels the Nikon 4000 is much better than the Minolta.

Well, that means I'll have to add the price of a new computer to the
cost of the scanner :>(
