If mirror is already down, then shutter never fired to get to the "shutter
lock" point. Sounds like a wind jam of some sort.

Subject: [OM] Dead OM2-n
Fellow OM-ers,
One of our faithful OM2-n's has died.
The symptoms are:
Shutter cocked (patterned curtain visible).
Wind lever won't advance further.
Mirror down.
Sprocket free.
No feel in release button.
Fresh batteries/reset tried - no luck.
It's an old, but much loved, body! Is there any hope of resurrection?
Regards
John Gruffydd (Mold, Wales, UK)
