Let me go away for a day or two, and when I come back I find that
I've been assigned homework! Yeah, I've got all the macro
flashes, and the cross polarizer. I'm even working on making a
bounce/diffusion attachment for a T45 to use for macro work. Why
not? With a Quantum Turbo battery pack, at macro distances this
powerhouse of a flash will keep up with a motor drive for a 6-8
shot burst. Should work well for those occasions when I'm trying
to capture creeping/crawling/scurrying/leaping/flying/fleeing
critters that seem to get away all too soon sometimes.
But this all sounds like a project for a cold, rainy winter
weekend, and those don't usually come around here in the South
until about January. Besides, autumn is my favorite outdoor time
of year, and I've got a full season of Tennessee Volunteer
football to attend, where I can wear a shade of orange not
suitable for any other occasion, sing "Rocky Top" too loud, and
drink Jack Daniels until I can't even remember when or how I
became an alumnus.
But I'll get to it. I promise.
