It would be interesting to have feedback from owners of the 55/1.2 as
to serial number and degree of yellowing.
Mine is SN 134140 and is a beautiful silver nose. When looking
through it backwards at white paper, there is slight yellow tint.
When compared to my 50/1.8, it looks the same if I put 2 UV filters
stacked (Hoya MC)on the 1.8. When comparing chromes of the two
lenses, the yellow of the 1.2 is barely noticeable, and only
noticeable when a direct comparison is available.
