No, Brian, I don't think that it was obviously off-center, but I think that
even a little bit could make a difference. I concur with you that printing
directly on the media is the best solution.
My eSIF CD from Hans has a very obviously off-center label and I plan to
copy it to a naked disk as soon as I get a chance.
regards,
Gary

Subject: RE: [OM] ( OM ) Query on how to get a better image
Hi Gary et al
Gary, do you recall if the label on the CD that broke up, was obviously off-
centre? Or did it look quite OK.
Probably you might not have noticed; but maybe you did.
My computer repair man did tell me that stick-on labels may do this, and
suggested I look into putting images directly on the CD Disk.
Since I set a fairly solid price on these CDs I'd like to take the
production to
a better visual level than the Sharpie labelling I have used to date, hence
the
wish to put an image on it. But I'd hate to damage somebody's CD reader.
Meantime I'm on the lookout for a 2nd hand Epson 700 printer locally ;-)
Who else among us uses CD Disks that have stick-on labels?
Brian
