Here's the info about the one-hour charger and the claim
that you can leave them in indefinitely:

To date, I've had no problems with this charger or any of
three different brands of NiMH batteries I've used with it.
I don't generally leave batteries in it all the time, but
have left them in for a few days occasionally.
