I have a Pradovit with a Leitz Wetzlar Colorplan 90mm / f2.5 lens. Bought in
Hong Kong in 1971 and built to last five lifetimes at least. The slide
changing mechanism could be somewhat less clunky and noisy, and the fan also
less noisy, but the image resolution is superb as are the cable operated
focusing and slide changing mechanisms. The noise level is quite tolerable
but compared to today's silent machines it is noticeable. For $100 this must
be the best bargain around.
