I bought a used OM2000 that had a dead meter. It responded to changes of
shutter speed and aperture.
What it didn't respond to was..... different levels of light!!
I've seen a few "reconditioned" OM-2000 cameras available on ebay. No thanks.
Based on what I've read here, the budget body to get
is the OM-10. If they slip into overexposure, it's apparently very easy to fix
at home (links on request).
