So that means the angle of view should be just about halved, doesn't
it? Kind of nasty on the wide-angle side of things, but my 180mm f2.8
would turn into an interesting 360mm f2.8 at that rate.

size.
Watch for minor colour or exposure shifts between lenses. These are a
pain
within a scene. That's why movie makers use T-stops and zooms.
