How could any red-blooded American NOT have a soldering iron and
at least three kinds of solder? Somewhere, I've got some high-
priced silver solder that's supposed to perform miracles when used
for hi-fi gear connections. Then there's the stuff for copper
pipe.
Counting the propane torch, I've got five or six devices of
various power with which to solder stuff together. And I bet I
could find at least two of 'em in less than an hour. Finding the
solder may take longer.
