What a wonderful write-up. I really enjoyed it
I guess I don't entirely agree, since I've put my silvernose 24.2.8 up
for sale and am keeping the poorer quality, plain Jane, old blacknose,
but it does match my preferred black OM-1, 2n, 4 and PC bodies. The only
silver noses I'll have left will be 50/1.8s and 1.4s and the 100/2.8, of
course.
Anybody wants one of those 50/1.4 silvernoses AG praises, I can
accomodate you.

The "Silvernosed" lenses were actually a limited production run
specialty series. These lenses featured a "chromed" filter ring
and front edge of the aperture ring.
