No, it won't even fit on the lens. The 28/3.5 hood is 49mm screw-in and
the 28-48/4 is 55mm screw-in. The closest thing in an Oly hood would be
the 24/2 hood. However, remember that it's not the filter ring size and
focal length alone that determine hood dimensions. The determining
factor is the diagonal angle of view and the location of the front node
of the lens relative to the location of the filter ring. Unfortunately,
we don't know the node location, so any hood not designed for the
specific lens must be tested empirically.
Testing is pretty simple. Lay the camera with the back off on a light
table with lens and hood mounted. Lay a piece of paper across the lens
hood and look at the light image projected on it by the lens. If it is
vignetted, the hood is too narrow. If there is a lot of blank space
around it, the hood doesn't provide as much protection as is possible.
