Agreed, Rich. Hence my posting without commentary. I've found some
absolutely whole-in-the-wall, awful looking places in my day that were
wonderful places to do business.
Coupled with the many "user reviews" on Photo.net, however, the photographs
provide another useful data point, IMO.

Ya, Scott, interesting. But sometimes, those little cluttered, funky shops
have honest owners that do you right, and the big, bright, clean,
well-stocked stores are straight up crooks. Ya just gotta do your homework,
always.
Rich (owner of my local pawn shop's chain of NICE stores was recently
arrested for fencing stolen goods -- sometimes profitable just isn't good
enough for some folk)
