Man, am I ever glad I first phoned B&H Photo for mail-order camera
equipment -- lo those many years ago -- and never went anywhere else
since. Some of their "competition" look like holes-in-the-wall in war-torn
Lebanon. You can tell a fair amount about a retail outlet by the care they
take to present themselves to the general public. Storefront physical
appearance is not 100% reliable, but it's not bad as an indicator. Adorama
looked okay too (albeit small in comparison to B&H Photo). No wonder B&H
is the 800-pound gorilla in this business...
