Hey, I've been told I'm kneehigh to a grasshopper, but
it's nice to know someone's shorter than me! <grin>
Actually, when I was taking photos for the Touch Footy
tournament, I actually surprised myself by finding the
100-300 (ahem, it was a C*n*n, but the point still
stands :-) ) focal length excellent for sideline action
and candid portraits (I'm not a big socialiser, so candids
-from-a-distance appeals to me. I'm gradually getting
more confidence though). A 60-300 would be even better.
So, for my purposes, I see your point.
