often an advice for testing old equipment is whether the aperture is
"snappy." I have not seen a lazy aperture until 30 minutes ago. K&S has a
bin of cheap lens and one is a 50/1.8 (they also have a nice 50/1.8 MIJ)
and the aperture is like our 14 years old corgi. It just moves every
soooooo slllloooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwly.
