Wasn't episode 2 done completely in digital and the 'printed' to film? I
know that in the movie theatre I saw it in, the projection equipment was all
digital and there was a blurb at the beginning that it was shot in digital.
Honestly, though, I couldn't tell any difference.
Is that good or bad?

to replace hundreds of fully-amortized film projectors with brand-new
digital projectors. Have you seen the price of digital projectors? Why?
Would people go to see more chick-flicks if they were digitally projected?
Naw.

prints. ("Star Wars-Episode 3" in digital? "Matrix-Reloaded" in digital?
I'm there.) My point is that twice-per-decade film events probably don't
drive upgrades.
