And now that Olympus has discontinued the OM line and
lenses, they will be able to devote themselves to this product
wholeheartedly. I think they know how to design good camera
systems. I was encouraged by the C-5050 I have, they have
paid attention to details well. A 9megapixel system would do
me just fine. I do hope they produce some fast lenses though.
The 14-54mm should be f1.4-2.8, since lower f-stops are actually
higher in 35mm terms. I like having fine DOF control, which is
missing on most prosumer digitals, including the C-5050. Of course
if you are a high f-stop shooter most of the time, the 4/3rd is
an advantage.
