I have been to Thailand, Hong Kong, (am in) Taiwan, went to Singapore,
and everywhere in the US..
All my film that is not in the camera, get's hand-checked. I get them
to hand-check it everytime.
How do I do it?
Well, first, you have to give them comfort.. Put all the film in a
plastic lunch baggie. Let them SEE that it's film canisters. Second,
throw a roll of ISO 800 or 1600 in there. When they ask, tell them you
have high speed film. Also, I rip off all the cardboard, that way I can
honestly say "I don't know which one it is". Last, when they tell you
ISO 100 is fine, tell them like I do "Hmm.. That's what they said last
time, and I came home with 100 0.000000ogged pictures.. So just go ahead and
tell me who I can sue if you guys screw up these rolls."
17 airports so far, and I've had them handcheck.. ;-)
Hong Kong, the guy opened EVERY ROLL, I had 40 rolls on me, you can
imagine the guys behind me and the profanity that spewed from their
mouthes.. But, my film didn't go through the scanner!!
