Ho folks,
I stand corrected; it never occurred to me that the petrol industry here in NZ
would be ( or be required to be) so 'refined' in operation (no pun intended -
but
it could be a good one) or honest to measure temperature of the fuel being
pumped and to compensate for expansion and contraction.
I'll ask the local pump agent (Gilbarco) which has an office only a little way
from where I live, what they do; I'm curious now.
I'm amazed at the complexity of the newest injection mechanisms.
