Some critics have asserted that it was Adams' failing eyesight that led him
to make some of his later prints more dramatic. After seeing them in the "
... at 100" show, I couldn't disagree with those critics more. The newer
prints reflect, IMNSHO, a changed view of his art and a furthering of his
abilites to get an emotional response from a viewer looking (essentially) at
pictures of rocks and trees.
The show is wonderful, BTW.
